A number of facilities operated by Sheffield International Venues’ (SIV) have been affected by the snow.

Due to the adverse weather conditions, Westfield Sports Centre and Concord Sports Centre are closed today (Tuesday, January 5) but both venues are expected to open as normal tomorrow morning.

Beauchief, Tinsley Park, Birley Wood and Tapton Park golf courses are closed for the foreseeable future. The clubhouses can be opened for private functions, meetings, and conferences. 

Hillsborough Leisure Centre and Don Valley Stadium will be closing at 2pm today and iceSheffield will be closing at 5pm. Both venues are in the process of contacting all clubs and lesson attendees.

At Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, the competition pool, gym and sports hall are open but the leisure pool is closed. Some classes and lessons are running but customers are advised to contact reception for the latest information.

The English Institute of Sport – Sheffield (EIS Sheffield) is currently open as normal but some club activities have already been cancelled for today. Members of the public are advised to contact the centre or club representative for details of cancellations before travel.

Sheffield City Hall box office is currently unaffected. However members of the public are advised to contact the venue before travelling.
