Tapton Park Golf Course, Chestefield, hosts a range of players and special events throughout the golf calendar, but had some extra special visitors when Blue Peter filmed at Tapton Park for a special 'Take Me On' challenge between Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton and 12 year old Welsh and European Junior golf champion Emily Boyman.

Emily spent the day coaching Blue Peter presenter Helen to teach her golf skills and the day finished with a head to head challenge to put the presenters new golf skills to the test against top youngster Emily, from North Wales, in a game of Night Golf.

The Night Golf challenge was played over three holes with the course transformed to be a unique light spectacular with lit fairways and luminous clubs, players and balls.

Its no surprise that Emily won the challenge and was awarded a Blue Peter badge being a junior champion but Night Golf was a new experience for her as when it gets dark the game tests many different skills and techniques. Tapton Park is one of the only clubs in the country to do luminous night sessions which is why the course was chosen for this special Blue Peter challenge.
